Love it, I can finish some quilts, I had for a long time!! Karen, is terrific and helpful!! The room is very bright and cheerful and I hate to leave, I feel I'm finally getting better at quilting!! I've meet a lot of quilters, so far, maybe you'll have a retreat sometime, wouldn't that be fun!!
I don’t have a surface at home large enough to lay out sewing patterns, so the Guided Sewing Studio is a fabulous option. I actually needed all 3 hours to adjust a pattern and adjust fabric pieces. I didn’t need to use a sewing machine, but if I did I wouldn’t hesitate to sign up again. There were 3 other people using machines. Everyone was friendly, it was a great experience.
I enjoyed it overall but found Karen (?) (the teacher) to be a bit difficult to work with. Immediately upon starting she told me that this lesson was just guidelines on sewing and NOT a private lesson! She also asked me if I had ever sewn before, when I have sewn most of my life. I just find following a pattern a little difficult. I would have preferred someone who was warm and anxious to help. I didn’t expect a private lesson. Maybe clarify this in your course description. Thanks.
